It connects people to share their journey along with others to split the cost while reducing their total carbon footprint. It can be used anywhere although it requires other people to also travel on the same route therefore it works best to and from public places like airports and train stations.
It's different from Carpooling. Carpooling works where one is the owner of the vehicle. CoRider is meant for people whose only choice of transport can be public vehicles. For eg., a person flying into the city would not have their own vehicle and has to choose either an Airport Taxi or public bus.
