The Good bits: Extramarks Education Foundation (EEF), a not-for-profit organisation, aims for quality education by transforming traditional schools into digitised learning centres for underprivileged children and paving the way for their bright future.
Extramarks was founded in 2007 by Atul Kulshreshtha and is headquartered in Noida, India. In November 2011, its 38.5% stake was acquired by Mukesh Ambani-owned Infotel Broadband and the investment was done through an affiliate company Reliance Strategic Investment for an undisclosed amount.
In May 2017, the company launched the test preparation and coaching centers for entrance examinations like Joint Entrance Examination-Advanced Medical, and Pre Foundation and has classroom coaching centers in Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore, Lucknow, and Haldwani. As of March 2018, Extramarks has tied up with 9,000 government and private schools.
In September 2015, Extramarks launched an Android app called Extramarks Smart Study, which allows students to study for CBSE and ICSEcurricula, ranging from pre-primary (kindergarten) and Class 1 to Class 12.
In August 2017, it developed an app called Total Learning, which allows students to access the curriculum-mapped learning solutions at home and lets teachers and parents track and monitor the student's performance.
In November 2018, Extramarks launched IITJEE Test Prep App, which allows students to take mock online tests for IIT JEEpreparation.It also has an app called Interactive Learning App, launched in February 2019.
In October 2017, Extramarks Education was tied up with BSNL to provide digital learning solutions to BSNL users. The company partnered with Power Grid Corporation Of India to offer digital solutions at Indian Army-run schools in Jammu & Kashmir in January 2018.
The digital solutions learning program, facilitated by Extramarks was inaugurated by General, Bipin Rawat the Chief of The Army Staff India at Army Goodwill School, Pahalgam on May 25, 2018.
The company is also in partnership with Samsung Intel Education, Advan, New Delhi Municipal Council.
Round 1- Group Discussion
Basically in this round, you will be in a group of 10 people and one recruiter would give you a topic to speak on for/against the topic. Basically, you will be judged on the basis of your reviews.
Round 2 - Technical Round
In this round you are going to be asked to tell about your introduction, your Family Background and the main question they ask is why do you want to come into this organization despite being into the bachelor of technology.
Round 3 - HR Round
In this round basically, you will be reviewed by the head of HR and on the basis of the above two rounds, you will be given a final call letter.
