Instruments Research & development establishment a Division of DRDO located in Dehradun, its primary function is research and development in the field of optical and electro-optical instrumentation. IRDE's objective is to develop products like night vision devices, electro-optical surveillance, and fire control systems.

Your role

Instruments R&D Establishment (IRDE), Dehra Dun is a premier laboratory of the Defence R&D Organisation (DRDO) engaged in the Research and Development of advanced technologies in the areas of Optics, Optoelectronics, and photonics. IRDE invites applications from highly motivated candidates (Indian citizens) with excellent academic backgrounds to work as Junior Research Fellows for a period of two years (extendable as per rules).

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) 

Training, development & rotations

• The fellowship/associateship will be assigned for a period of two years and is to be held in IRDE (extendable as per rules).

Salary & benefits

• The consolidated pay is around INR 37,000/- per month plus House rent allowance as per rule.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.

About You

To apply for this position, you must have the following eligibility criteria and general conditions :

Qualification:

• B.Tech/B.E in Ist Division in Electronics Engg. from UGC recognized University with a valid NET/GATE (or) M.E./M. Tech. in Electronics Engg. with Ist Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level from UGC recognized University
• M.E/M.TechB.Tech/B.E in Ist Division in Physics from UGC recognized University with valid NET/GATE (or) M.E/M. Tech in Physics with Ist Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level from UGC UGC-recognized university 

Age: 

• Maximum 28 years as of the date of interview ( Relaxation applies).
