Your role

The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes a backend standard operating procedures to handle customer queries/complaints
• Follow-up on all customer requests/complaints
• Experience in Disputes/Chargeback/Account Maintenance on Credit Card accounts will be added advantage.
• Identify, research, and resolve customer issues
• Maintains detailed knowledge of a subset of product and service offerings to customers
• Analyzes risk areas and identifies solutions to meet customer's needs
• Ensuring Information security for sensitive data

Training & development

The training and Development Strategy at Citibank is consisting of three core areas:

• The first core area is “on-the-job learning” which takes 70% of the whole development program.
• The second core area is “learning through the relationship of exposure to others” takes 20% part of the program.
• The third core area is “formal classroom training” which takes 10% part.

About You

Skills that will help you succeed in this role:

Qualification:

• Must possess excellent PC and keyboarding skills (40 WPM – typing speed; 90% accuracy)
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills including proficiency with grammar, spelling and punctuation
• Must possess good analytical skills
• Courteous with a strong customer service orientation
• Dependable with proficient attention to detail

Education:

• 15 or 16 years of full-time graduation in any stream, preferably from a commerce and arts background
• 0-2 years of maximum experience, preferably in Banking or customer service/Backend Operations of any industry type
