Office Work Environment
Our office is located right in the heart of the Auckland CBD and is directly opposite Britomart for easy public transport access. Inside our office, everybody gets their own space and you sit with your team. We have a dress for your day policy and are generally quite relaxed with dress code in the office (but with the expectation that you dress more smartly if meeting with external parties).

Recruitment

Recruitment
Interview process was quite straight forward. Had to submit a cover letter and CV and indicate which service line I was interested in. Once I did that, I did some psychometric tests. Within a week I was asked to have an interview. No technical questions were asked in the interview. The questions asked were mostly about me and my ability to communicate with others and deal with certain situations. Be yourself! I felt that they want to know about you as a person and how you operate rather than what you know. Having past job experience (not necessarily in the accounting field) is advantageous as it shows that you can work in teams.

Work hours are 8:30am to 5pm. In our team we are not expected to work overtime and most of our team will finish work on time at 5pm. Our team is quite accommodating if sometimes our work hours need to change, but communicating this to the team is important. We have a hybrid working policy where we are able to work from home 2 days a week.
