We are currently looking for an FP&A Reporting specialist to be part of our Business Information and Data Visualization inside the FP&A team.

Challenge description

You are a structured reporting professional energized by change and continuous improvement. Join us and be a main contributor to the VCE Finance architecture vision roadmap. Be part of an HQ team able to connect to the regions and functions needs and deliver together great value for the CE business.

In this role, you will secure business information flow monthly and estimate reporting from volume reporting to financial results. You will secure business data are reported on time and with accuracy from Volvo CE transaction systems to central CE financial applications and towards ABV group systems. As Reporting specialist, you will own and maintain the financial deliveries' detailed calendar and secure alignment with the 4C (VCE planning solution) calendar.

You will gain an end-to-end understanding of VCE business information flow. You will identify and prioritize continuous improvement initiatives and work in a cross-functional agile way with Group IT delivery teams and with the FP&A Volume and business control solutions leaders.

Mindset and Competence

  • You enjoy teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
  • You have full end-to-end knowledge of business flows, systems interfaces, and how transactions end up in the financial statements.
  • Ability to “connect the dots”. You have an analytical mindset; you are quick at understanding the cause and consequence of an event in the business information flow.
  • You have experience with reporting, governance, and guidelines in database warehousing and other relevant systems. Knowledge of SAP AO, WebI, VGCS, and VGFD is merit.
  • You are passionate about business information and the value well-managed data creates for an enterprise
  • You can adapt your communication style to the message receiver. You can explain a complex flow with simple terms.
