Position Summary
The web development intern will work with Teach For India’s Technology Team on developing responsive web application components for one or more stakeholders of Teach For India to connect and empower each other on the path of realizing the organization’s vision - One day all children will attain an excellent education. The intern will develop front-end components (in ReactJS) and/or web services (in NodeJS) on top of multiple data sources (MongoDB, Salesforce)
Team Overview
The Technology team is responsible for technology implementations, software solutions, and hardware support for all stakeholders of Teach For India. They’re a small but strong team that aims to use science and art to create wonder. "Gandhi meets Jobs" is the motto and they work towards creating beautiful apps that empower all the stakeholders on their journey towards the collective vision. The company operates with the agility and rigor of a startup, making use of the best and latest technologies available. Some of the technology platforms they currently use are Salesforce.com, NodeJS, ReactJS, MongoDB, and Algolia and they adopt new technologies when/where the company believes they add value. They're not rigid about using any specific technology. However, they're committed to providing an amazing user experience on every solution they build.

The annual salary for the Intern is INR 48,000. (Source: Teach for India). Listed below are some benefits:
Work days are usually from Monday to Friday with flexible work timings. This role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from the office and home depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined by your future manager.
