Your role
The 'Research and Innovation intern' will work closely with the City Director & the Leadership Team in Hyderabad. The intern is broadly responsible for leading a few critical research projects in the city. They will support the design, initiation, and implementation of a few below-mentioned research projects.
Research Project(s)
Blended Learning - Examine the effectiveness of blended learning interventions implemented in 34 schools in Hyderabad. The project will culminate in a report/white paper. Read the summary of the study they concluded last year - You'll be engaged in a similar study.
Ecosystem Research - The second research project pertains to identifying key ecosystem players in the field of Education and building a strategic roadmap for partnerships in the city.
Identifying Micro Innovations: The third research is aimed at identifying micro innovations across classrooms that can be scaled and amplified.
Responsibilities
Design end-to-end project scope and sequence
Read and synthesize secondary research documents
Conduct participant interviews and focus group discussions
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data
Co-author a report/ white paper.

Salary & benefits

About you
The requirements for the role are as follows:
Knowledge and Technical Skills
Interest in engaging in both Primary and Secondary research
Basic Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Ppt, Excel)
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Time management and flexibility to accommodate multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to read and synthesize documents

Education and Experience
Experience conducting qualitative/ and or quantitative studies
Preferred: A graduate degree or currently enrolled in a Master’s Program in the field of Social Sciences
Candidates with work experience and interest in research may also apply
Preferred Qualifications, Experiences, and Expectations
40 hours a week for 4-6 months (Can be extended based on the need)
Needs to be physically present in Hyderabad for at least 10 days during the internship
