Your role

As a quality owner of a particular product, you need to come up with creative ideas to ensure that they deliver high-quality products to their customers. You need to work with the team right from day one of any new user story and understand what they are building and how we test it.

• Improve and extend test frameworks and automated test sets
• Understand product requirements and ensure engineering implementation covers all of them.
• You will have complete control over the quality of the products and all deployment cycles.
• You will directly work with the product development team, and customer service team members to understand the issues and fix them.
• Closely work with devs to help identify issues at the early stages itself.
• You will be doing both functional and non-functional testing, covering the UI and backend services.
• You will be willing to develop automation and integrate it with the CI/CD system.
• Deep focus on building an automation framework for all product features & APIs and ensuring the right test coverage by automation.
• Work with PM & Dev to understand requirements and design and develop test plans and test cases and focus on test coverage.

Compensation & benefits

The salary for this role ranges between INR 13.0 Lakhs to INR 15.0 Lakhs per annum. Employees are entitled to the following benefits:

About you

• 0-2 years experience in a related field
• Exposure to web service testing and API automation (Postman/REST Assure/Karate etc)
• Extensive programming experience in any one programming language like Java, Python, Ruby, Clojure, Scala, C, or C++,  familiar with various frameworks/Design patterns, to enhance and extend the automation library and framework.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills.
• Understand software internals, debug code, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Eye for detail when it comes to testing functional modules
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain a close working relationship with multiple stakeholders in the organization.
• Passion for finding bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code through the use of automation tools
• Enthusiasm for learning and being able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to test, develop, and iterate on a rapid basis
• Great attitude and self-motivation to deliver the best product experience to the customers.
