What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
The pay is very good for graduates. And pay increases as you rotate and become more experienced if meeting the required performance goals. There are no bonuses. I had hoped to work a 10day fortnight which is additional pay and would provide me more time to learn, develop and contribute however as a graduate a 9day fortnight only is allowed.

As a graduate engineer the pay at EQL is very competitive. I think bonuses could be an incentive when it comes to performance reviews, as the current process mainly forces bi-annual discussion around performance and nothing more.

Well paid, especially for a 9 day fortnight (+ no expectation to work overtime). Generally no bonuses. Pay progression is frequent on the graduate program, becoming less common once you are in a permanent role (not on grad program).

Pay is great. I am less than 12 months out of uni and I am on $100k with a 9 day fortnight. Pay progression is clearly stated in the job description, salary progression is clearly stated in the EQL Union Collective Agreement. You get paid overtime (although I have never been required to work it). There are no bonuses.

Very good, backed by strong unions.

The companies pay and work life balance is definitely industry leading.

The pay is quite good compared to similar roles in other companies.

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
The superannuation is 12.75%, beyond that of other employers. And Super includes some income protection cover. Other perk where I am based is the social club which have some great events at discounted prices as a member. The membership fortnightly cost is very little and it allows socialising outside of work.

Being able to recognise or be recognised for work through the igniteEQL awards system is a really nice way to encourage the good work people do within EQL.

Government organisation, so not really any monetary perks such as bonuses or gifts. However we do have things like flexible working arrangements, extensive paid training, optional additional super contribution, novated lease options, EAP, Fitness passport, 2 volunteer days per year, paid relocation if desired, generous leave options, internal recognition/rewards program, etc.

Being a government owned organisation, there a few to no perks. You get paid enough to not need that stuff. There are some perks but I don't use any (e.g. gym partnership thing).
Graduate, Brisbane
I don't think there are any major perks that I am aware of.

The relocation program is great with some beneficial aspects. I do think it is best spent on relocations of more than 400/500 km away.

The main perk would be the flexibility of banking RDOs.
Graduate, Cairns
There can be opportunities to move towns for specific roles and the company will cover the expenses and assist with the process.
