Your role

The Retail Bank SOSH is a developing professional role for Retail Bank Sales Operations & Controls. The individual shall apply knowledge in control monitoring and process improvement and is expected to ensure policy implementation and controls within the location Retail Bank S&D team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring superior client experience through best in class on-boarding process for customers on-boarded by Retail Bank sales and distribution team through reduced turnaround time and rejects across products
  • Ensuring adherence to the due sales process by the Retail Bank sales and distribution team through various reviews, on-the-spot checks, and structured reviews through internal controls.
  • Interface with various stakeholders in the process including operations, CBORC, and AML teams to resolve any process gaps identified.
  • Challenge the status quo and continuously improvise the processes, implement healthy control checks, identify risks and map corrective action plans in the region assigned
  • Responsible for conducting independent control reviews, and sweeps for the location Retail Bank S&D teams to ensure the strong and compliant working platform
  • Drive First-time Right metric among frontline teams through training and refresher sessions
  • To monitor and manage processes outsourced to vendors. To ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and Citi Vendor Management Guidelines
  • Provide leadership guidance, training, and coaching to vendor staff and conduct regular meetings with local vendor teams to disseminate information, new policies
  • Preparation and Review of location-level SOSH MIS.
  • Conduct reviews with location Sales Frontline teams to understand opportunities for standardization/improvement of processes as appropriate
  • Work with the location Retail Bank S&D Head to constantly evaluate Audit readiness for the entire network as applicable

About You

  • Knowledge of client onboarding procedures (KYC requirements, FATCA, etc.)
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills related to client interaction, and internal team interactions

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
