Your role

You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Data Scientist within and across the Advanced Analytics group, and can expect to be involved in the following;

• Develop an understanding of the functionalities of varied approaches using AI Technology to help real-life problems for functions across the Airbus
• Support the initiatives to adopt and harmonize the new Ways of Working being matured to enable seamless continuity between Mathematical models, Architecture models, and detailed behavioural & performance models for solving advanced problems
• Have exposure to Specifying, designing, developing, integrating, validating, and delivering the Software Frameworks by using an Advanced Analytics Approach
• Enhance your understanding of the complex Airbus Information Systems and come up with viable and cost-effective usage of AI approaches
• Enrich your Data Analytics skills at a basic level to enable the choice of data-driven approaches wherever required in such a complex problem-solving environment

Your first placement will be in Bengaluru, India in the Advanced Analytics group, part of the Digital Platforms & Solutions Department at Airbus India IM Function. During year one, you’ll be exposed to overall Advanced Analytics topics like Computer Vision, Time Series, Optimization techniques, and their current usage. During year two, the focus shall be on piloting proof of concepts for solving real-world problems using enriching Data Analytics capabilities.

 About you

The requirements for the role are as follows:

To be a successful applicant to this position on the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you must be able to demonstrate;

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study - Engineering or related (preferably Artificial Intelligence)
• Strong interest in Advanced Analytics and its usage of it for solving problems along with using data analytics
• Either no or a maximum of three years of relevant work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication in the business language (English)
• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment focused on driving future innovation
• The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.

As the successful candidate your main tasks & accountabilities are:

• Understanding and explanation of Airbus business process and proposing improvisation wherever possible
• Grasp and demonstrate the first principles for Advanced Analytics and the usage of those principles 
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize the appropriate Airbus tools and techniques by the challenges solved
• The kind of decision-making skill and holistic approach demonstrated in managing conflict and project crisis effectively
• Interface with varied stakeholders and share and receive feedback on improvements in day-to-day job and the overall metamorphosis over the 2 years
