Finance Internship

Overview

When you start a P&G internship, you will work on a real-life project where your inputs and decisions will impact our multi-billion dollar business. We want to help you grow into a world class leader through our leadership & development programs. Working in a multi-functional team environment, you are the 'Chief Financial Officer' for your area of responsibility, bringing both financial expertise and business leadership to ensure excellent decision making, the maximization of long-term profits, cash flows and shareholder value as well as the delivery of sustainable financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis on plans or projects to determine payout of projects and to set direction for future plans
  • Identify key opportunities to exceed targets and make recommendations on how to avoid future business risks
  • Develop an understanding of key external market trends including benchmarking and retailer & sales channel analysis
  • Finding opportunities to maximize revenue and to grow share profitably

Your Team

This role reports to P&G’s ANZ Finance Director, working closely with the F&A team, as well as supporting employees from multidisciplinary functions.

Finance internships are available in Sydney.

Qualifications

  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or NZ Residents
  • Penultimate year student preferably studying a quantitative degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering etc.
  • Able to work full-time as an intern from December 2022 - February 2023
  • Have a minimum 70 Weighted Average Mark (WAM)
  • Are born leaders and are passionate to make things happen
  • Strong communication skills and a drive to win
  • Like to bring creativity & innovation to their work
  • Have strong analytical thinking and skills
  • Collaborate well with diverse groups of people
