Your role

The Schedule Editor is responsible for the efficient processing and curation of television schedules. The role requires diligent workflow management to accurately process and update electronic programming guides (EPG) as they become available to different content providers.

Schedule Editors are also responsible for maintaining, updating and improving the Gracenote database that powers the consumer product and ultimately the end-user experience. The ideal candidate will be able to accurately process a high volume of entertainment metadata in a timely fashion. They will be able to manipulate this data, to normalize and enhance it for evergreen use in the Gracenote database.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process TV Listings information and enrich with required metadata into the local data management system within the given duration and deadline.
  • Data entry and editing of TV scheduling information.
  • Research content from reliable sources, validate and maintain accurate schedule data.
  • Research and link inbound programs to internal databases.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of accurate and reliable information.
  • Respond to emails and other communications from global teams professionally.
  • Complete daily tasks and responsibilities diligently.
