A Day in the Life at K&L Gates

I head upstairs to the training rooms to meet up with my fellow clerks for a session to get to know how Pro Bono operates within the firm and what we need to do if we want to get involved.

I finish the day working on a matter involving Modern Slavery... Currently, we are preparing for a modern slavery training presentation for one of our infrastructure construction clients.

The government has announced changes to the Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) legislation. I am working to build a reputation for having SOCI expertise so I write up a short piece providing some insight on the proposed changes.

I join a live Webex session as part of K&L Gates' in-house Graduate Training Program. This is about researching caselaw. I was grateful to take away many handy tricks for researching case law - I wish I had known these tricks at uni!
