Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency of the Government of India, under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The agency serves as the first point of contact for investors exploring India as a business destination. Invest India is responsible for numerous key government initiatives including Startup India, AGNIi, One District One Product, Project Monitoring Group, and Waste to Wealth.  

Your role

• The team comprises a group of talented, hand-picked consultants, investment bankers, and industry experts that have joined hands in the nation’s interest to increase investment and job opportunities in India.

• With Foreign Direct Investments being a key priority for the nation and an extremely fast-evolving economic landscape, candidates must possess the ability to take ownership and deliver high-caliber output while dealing with pressure.
• All positions are based in Delhi with assignment-specific domestic and international travel.

Training, development & rotations

Their multi-faceted activities include detailed India entry strategies and research, end-to-end handholding, and investment aftercare. They work with every major country worldwide, and across all Indian states. 

Collaboration with the industry and skilling programs will reorient ongoing skilling avenues, sustainability, and employability. The Digital Ecosystem for Skilling and Livelihood – the DESH-Stack portal will be established. Online training, will empower citizens to skill, reskill, or upskill. It will also provide Application Programming Interface (API) based authorized skill certificates, payment, and discovery layers to find appropriate positions.

Most recently, they were awarded the Investment Promotion Award, 2020 by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development for their good practices during the pandemic.
