Hero MotoCorp Story

The company was founded in 1984 as a joint venture between the Munjal brothers and Honda. The first product that was launched was the CD100, a small motorcycle with a 100cc engine. The company quickly became popular among Indian consumers, and by the early 1990s, it had become the largest manufacturer of motorcycles in India. 

In 2001, the company split from Honda and became Hero Honda. In 2010, it rebranded as Hero MotoCorp following the split from Honda. The company has since gone from strength to strength and is now the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world given the number of units manufactured per year.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process happens in three stages:

  1. Written Exam
  2. Group Discussion
  3. Technical & HR Interview

The written exam has three parts: an essay, a math section and a science section. There are 50 questions in the whole test, which consists of three parts. The time limit for the entire examination is 30 minutes. The following are the three tests included in the overall test:

  1. English Language
  2. Psychometric Test
  3. Aptitude Test
