About Google

Google offers Internet-related services and products, including online advertising technologies, search, cloud computing, software, and hardware. Google has over 50 offices in India and more than 10,000 workers. The company's first India office was set up in 2009. Google's largest campus outside of the US is its Bengaluru campus, which employs over 7,000 people.

Google’s mission is to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. They do this by providing search services that make finding the right information easy, creating effective advertising solutions, and building products like Gmail and Google Chrome that users can all rely on.

Your role

Google aspires to be an organization that reflects the globally diverse audience that its search engine and tools serve. They believe that in addition to hiring the best talent, a diversity of perspectives, ideas, and cultures leads to the creation of better products and services.

Google is invested in increasing the number of future computer scientists and software developers, particularly those who are historically underrepresented in the field. Many aspiring computer scientists could benefit from a program that bridges the gap between academic study and a professional internship. With such a program, Google aims to inspire these students to continue in the field.

This program is committed to addressing diversity in the company and the technology industry. Students who are a member of a group that is historically underrepresented in the technology industry are encouraged to apply.
