Who you’ll be working with

Freshdesk Product Design team is looking for Product Designers to join our community who will design SaaS products and features that touch the lives of over 40,000 customers who trust us.

We believe in creating data-informed design at Freshdesk. The focus is to go beyond screens in defining the entire experience including all the customer touchpoints using solid research insights to create delightful moments.

As a product designer, you will be responsible for owning the design life cycle, seeking feedback, and collaborating with the team. If you’re a designer passionate about sweating the details,  loves wearing multiple hats, and balancing design with user research, then we welcome you to join our team.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from the Product and Engineering teams to research, plan, and design products and ideas for our users
• Able to articulate and communicate the design processes, ideas and rationale confidently
• Independently own your design process and consistently deliver intuitive user experiences in our products
• Own the features you’ve worked on and track the performance to identify the success and areas of opportunity to improve the features once it goes live.
• Be actively involved in team activities and initiatives that encourage learning and engaging with cross-functional teams.

What you will need

• 0 to 2 years of experience as a product designer, interaction designer, or related role
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or equivalent design tools
• Your portfolio also highlights your thought process involved in design projects
• Interest in collaborating with other designers, receiving and sharing critiques across teams, and an enormous passion for design thinking.

About the Freshdesk Design Team

We are a forty-member team of designers interested in research, product design, visual design, and motion design. We love spending time with each other: from in-office lunches to remote water cooler conversations; from insightful discussions on the latest update to an app to what's been bothering us recently; from a music track that we loved to making plans for team lunches whenever we get back to the office.
