About DigiLocker

DigiLocker is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) under the Digital India program. DigiLocker aims at the ‘Digital Empowerment’ of the citizen by providing access to authentic digital documents in the citizen’s digital document wallet. The issued documents in the DigiLocker system are deemed to be at par with original physical documents as per Rule 9A of the Information Technology (Preservation and Retention of Information by Intermediaries Providing Digital Locker Facilities) Rules, 2016 notified on February 8, 2017, vide G.S.R. 711(E).

Your role

The purpose of the internship is to provide an opportunity for individuals to substantively contribute and learn from their work. The intern will be given specific tasks and responsibilities and will be challenged to develop their capabilities and gain experience.

The selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Candidates must have a MAC system with them.
• The selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to build the iOS version of existing product and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Time Commitment

• Minimum Engagement period required: 6 Months

Salary & benefits

Internships are on a voluntary basis and Intern is not entitled to wages or a promise of employment at the completion of the Internship. No office space will be provided and interns will have to work from home. The openForge platform will be utilized by the interns for collaboration and to submit their work for review.

About you

To apply for this position, you must have the following eligibility criteria :

Skills And Qualifications:

• Proficient with Objective-C or Swift
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT
• Any prior experience in building an iOS app is a big plus Skills:- Objective C, Swift, iOS App Development, and API
