About DigiLocker

DigiLocker is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) under the Digital India program. DigiLocker aims at the ‘Digital Empowerment’ of the citizen by providing access to authentic digital documents in the citizen’s digital document wallet. The issued documents in the DigiLocker system are deemed to be at par with original physical documents as per Rule 9A of the Information Technology (Preservation and Retention of Information by Intermediaries Providing Digital Locker Facilities) Rules, 2016 notified on February 8, 2017, vide G.S.R. 711(E).

Your role

The purpose of the internship is to provide an opportunity for individuals to substantively contribute and learn from their work. The intern will be given specific tasks and responsibilities and will be challenged to develop their capabilities and gain experience.

The selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Working as per the best coding standards
• Working on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
• Working on multiple projects at the same time and completing tasks promptly
• Knowledge of PHP, and Python is a plus.

Time Commitment

• Minimum Engagement period required: 6 Months

Salary & benefits

Internships are voluntary and Intern is not entitled to wages or a promise of employment after the Internship. No office space will be provided and interns will have to work from home. The openForge platform will be utilized by the interns for collaboration and to submit their work for review.
