Your role

• We are looking for a resource who has an SRE Proactive mindset to achieve Operational efficiency 
• Resource should be aligned to the Organisational Objectives and work on the key engineering pillars, Observability (enhanced monitoring), Resilience, Service Risk Assessment, and Operational Engineering
• Collaborate with BTB to build Sustainable Solutions which are aligned with Business Outcomes
• Maintain Strong knowledge of end-to-end application delivery and business criticality along with an enhanced focus on application stability and resiliency.
• Manage Global RTB stakeholders, Business Integration Manager responsibilities for Hyperion apps, Vendor, and Development leads
• Review and automate operationally expensive tasks (frequent batch failures, reporting requirements, etc.,)
• Responsibility for owning, maintaining, and tracking operational guides for support, knowledgebase, runbooks, rainy day procedures, SLA/OLA documentation, upstream and downstream contacts
• Owning and driving governance around both the incident management and problem process, including actions from major problem reviews/high severity incidents, driving Service Review
• Calls with the global RTB manager and giving value add to both the process and the outcome
• Complex issue triage, investigation, and coordination to closure including leading triage on major incident calls
• Collate data for Proactive Service Improvement Initiatives including trending of incidents, root causes,s, and other MI reports
• Reviewing of Implementation Plans & Release Documentation
• Accountable for preparing & executing BCM, DR, and the group resiliency tests 
• Manage assigned Risk and control / Audit, Technology Resilience, and other RTB initiatives
• Building strong foundations and effective “Knowledge sharing” to make sure the team adapts to the change and drives effectively
• Ensure the solutions designed/developed/deployed are fully compliant with the Barclays standards and control framework
• Operational Improvement – take full accountability for the strategic and tactical service delivery
• Define and lead the implementation of the Service Management strategy and support model Globally
• Accountable for service transition activity, ensuring that new applications/releases into the Production environment meet service acceptance criteria and operational deliverables have been met prior to handover.

About you

Basic Requirements:

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• A thorough understanding of the Hyperion Essbase & Planning and a sound understanding of Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Solution as a candidate would be required to act as an escalation point for the technical issues with applications.
• Excellent infrastructure understanding of Hyperion services and configuration.
• Python understanding and hands-on will be a plus
• Collaboration skills, Ability to work with multiple teams within the Business Unit
• SRE's Proactive mindset to achieve Operational efficiency

Skills:

• Technical skills in SQL & Windows will be an added advantage
• Qualification- any graduate.
• Preferred  degree BE
