Agni Rural Welfare Society is founded in the year 2008 by the chairman Tarapada Das. The NGO is headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. Disaster Management is the major activity of society such as providing food, shelter, and clothes to people who have lost everything due to natural calamities and other reasons. Free education is provided for children from poor families and distressed women from the weaker sections are offered vocational training to set up income-generating small enterprises. The society also conducts HIV/AIDS awareness programs, General health camps, eye camps, and blood donation camps on the basis of humanity.
